May 23rd changed from Red Deer to Medicine Hat for bike meet and ride
Hows this seeing we see some interest from people North of us.
Saturday May 23rd, meet in Red Deer at 11 get a few hotel rooms, head to Rocky Mountain House, North to Buck Lake, East to Winfield and the South to Red Deer.
With refreshment stops it should take 5 or 6 hours ( judging from the last few).
The ride is open to everyone by the way, hopefully you in Edmonton and Red Deer will take the opportunity to meet up with us

Sounds like a great ride. Perhaps if we can get enough interest we could book at floor at a hotel/motel to keep some intimacy. I know we are in. Just to clarify though, "where is the Petro Canada"?

Not sure about making it for this one...depends on how much little extra cash we have by the end of the month, little tight right now...although we do know a couple of inexpensive motels in the RD...unless of course MrC gets a job b4 then and then may have to work...

T we need to get our s*#@ together buddy!! Man we can't seem to coordinate this year. Thanks for the consideration G but maybe the 23rd? I hate to wrench other peoples plans, and the 6th would have worked for me as well, but we seem to be losing our leader lately.
How is the 23rd for everyone else? After that I am very very ify with work setup until after the big show. Might be able to sneak a day ride here or there but thats about it.
Damn work. Greatest Outdoor Show On Earth my ass!!

Well; either the 23rd/30th works for us the 6th could be do-able but suppose to golf in a tournament on the 7th..but nothing is set in stone at this stage. we hopefully can make it to WHATEVER date is set; as cinmike said once this weather gets going to hot..our weekends are taken up with work.. yah work on a weekend go figure...
so will keep watching the board and hopefully make it no matter what weekend you guys pick!

Bandit, I will leave the posting up for another few days say until Sunday night.
There has been no real interest so far from Red Deer or Edmonton so far.. (except Nutbolt).. Initally, the reason I posted meeting in Red Deer so that people interested from the group up North and Red Deer area could meet us... so if no interest.. we can just delete the post and we can just go riding on that date, the 30th and or the 6th... it is just a matter of where

june 6th works for us - 23rd and 30th are out.
we will keep in touch and see if anything planned for 6th -
mike will have finished his course by then - and will be wanting to hit the road for a good long ride.

we will keep an eye on board either weekends work for us at this time..the 6th may be iffy.. still not sure about our golf tournament on the sunday...??? anyhow if nothing pans out for red deer still like to ride with you guys whereever...will check back here on sunday! Its Hump day yipee
